Cara respects your privacy

 

Cara subscribes to the 13 Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988, as amended 2012, dealing with the collection, use of, disclosure and data security of personal information.  

The way Cara works is from the principle that individuals have the right to know:

  • What personal information Cara collects about them
  • How the information is collected
  • Why it is collected
  • Where and how it is stored
  • Who has access to the information and,
  • To whom the information may be disclosed.   

Individuals also have the right to receive information about the process of making a complaint to Cara about a breach of privacy.
