Team leader at Brompton and Albert Park (JVR TL 619 HAW /CHI)
Accommodation services, located west of Adelaide
- Two team Leader positions
- Brompton and Albert Park locations
Cara is seeking two experienced team leaders who are able to work in a hands-on role over a seven day roster, inclusive of passive sleepovers using a person centred approach, and have strong leadership and people management skills.
The successful applicants will lead a team in supporting up to five adults with multiple disabilities to holistically meet their needs and enhance their community participation and quality of life.
Key requirements include:
- Certificate III Community Services (Disability) (essential)
- Certificate IV Community Services or Certificate IV Mental Health or equivalent (desirable)
- Supervision and/or management training (desirable).
Experience in the disability sector working with an active support model and therapeutic model of support is an advantage.

Developmental Educator / Program Coordinator Accommodation (JVR617/618)

An exciting career opportunity exists for a professional, flexible and motivated developmental educator with experience in the disability sector to work as a program coordinator in a new accommodation service in the northern suburbs.
You will provide education and a therapeutic model of support for children with autism spectrum disorder to increase their independence and enhance their choices for participation in the wider community. You will also work closely with the service team leader to provide modelling and training for staff to learn and maintain the skills required for excellence in service provision. In addition, you will be working as part of the skills enhancement team, drawing on peer support from a large group of developmental educators
This role ideally suits a developmental educator with demonstrated experience in enhancing
skills within the disability sector using initiative and innovative thinking.
It is essential to possess a Bachelor of Applied Science in Disability or an equivalent qualification, as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
